SHF was established in 1986 to restore, maintain and display historic militaryaircraft. We fly our American aircraft in the colours of the USAF in honour and respect for the 85000 American airmen who gave their lives to help free us from the terrorist regime about to gain control in Europe during WWII. It seems more and more important to remind our generation of this fact. This can best be achieved by making it possible for people of this and future generations to view and experience the aircraft in their true element - the air.

To achieve our operational goals SHF is dependent upon the support and cooperation of the civil and military airshow organizers, the many people who pay entrance fees at airshows to see historic aircraft fly, and the 30 or so SHF crew who “keep them flying”. If you have questions or comments concerning our work, airshows, aircraft or our internet pages, do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for your continued support.

Yours truly,

Anders K. Saether
